Centenary Motors is looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager who wants more than just another dealership job.
This is a hands on selling management role. Initially, you will be responsible for generating your own sales while managing the day to day sales operation. As the business grows, you will recruit, train and lead your own sales team while continuing to lead from the front.
You won't be walking into a large corporate dealership with multiple layers of management.
You'll work directly with the business owner, have the freedom to make decisions, improve systems and genuinely influence the future direction of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Sell used vehicles and consistently achieve strong monthly sales results.
- Manage the complete sales process from enquiry through to delivery.
- Negotiate and close deals while supporting junior sales staff.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Recruit, train and develop future sales consultants.
- Build a high performing sales culture.
- Conduct trade appraisals and assist with stock purchasing.
- Work closely with our Finance Manager to maximise finance and warranty opportunities.
- Liaise with the workshop regarding vehicle preparation and delivery.
- Improve sales systems, processes and conversion rates.
- Monitor department performance and drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who can walk in and make an immediate impact.
You will have:
- Minimum five year's experience in a used vehicle dealership.
- Previous Sales Manager experience or be a high performing Senior Sales Consultant ready to step into management.
- Strong European vehicle knowledge.
- Excellent trade appraisal and vehicle valuation skills.
- Experience using Autogate or similar dealership software.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and closing skills.
- A solid understanding of finance, warranties and dealership operations.
- The confidence to make decisions and solve problems independently.
